I'm looking for a cheap option to store carry 3 fwd wings biggest 1050, 3 stabilisers and 2 masts. Biggest 82cm. There axis all have there own covers except masts.
Was thinking some sort of cricket bag long oblong skinny duffle bag might work?
Any ideas appreciated.
Thanks
Dale
I use a padded bag with sections inside for fuses and zip up clear sections for screws and tools made by Naish.
Depends what you call cheap as compared to the few grand of stuff that you want in a bag.
The Mystic 110cm bag will cover your needs easily. Plenty of storage with padded dividers and pockets in the lid.
I haven't tried one yet, but padded keyboard gig bags are cheap and the right size and shape.
They start at about $30 each and come in 49, 61, 72 and 88-key sizes ranging from about 85cm to 140cm.
You'd have sort out some internal dividers or straps to organise your gear. Some bags have velcro dividers but I think they're generally the expensive ones.
Other alternatives could be cheap guitar or gun padded bags.
PS I've added little webbing handles to all my foil covers. It makes it easy to carry a heap of foils and masts and tails and whatever with no risk of dropping them.
The only serious damage I have ever done to a foil is years ago when I dropped a brand new foil, in its bag, onto the road. It landed on a gap in the bag and smashed the tip. The plus side is I learned very early on how to repair damaged foils.
I bought a roller golf bag on amazon for $60 and have made multiple trips with it as well as kept it in my van with my foils masts etc in it. Works great for travel and keeping all my $#!T in order everyday.
Mystic 110 bag is perfect for that. I have 2 masts in it.
Otherwise Gong makes a smaller bag but handy.
