Thumbs Up

So I had two wing surfing lessons a couple of weeks ago and I really liked it so I decided to start buying some gear.

I am a windsurfer with some wind foiling experience and already own a Neilpryde Foil with 1800 front wings that I use for wind foiling, which should be quite ok for wing surfing for me as a beginner. This foil has a tuttle box head, so I though I could buy a universal Deep Tuttle foil plate adapter from F-One to make the foil usable on a wing surf board with foil plate.

However fitting the adapter on the foil, the inclination of the deep tuttle box causes the adapter and mast to be at a slight angle of 2-3 degrees. This causes the mast to sit at an angle as well.

Anyone with experience with this? Will this be an issue riding the foil? Do I need to create some sort of shim to correct the angle? I have not tried it out yet, but am curious about your opinions.
