Why don't you attach you wrist leash to your waist belt?

Thanks.. I actually like the long straight leash on my wing.. I find the bungee or coil leashes bounce around when pumping the wing.. and the first time I tried attaching it to my waist belt I fell in and couldn't get around the wing tip and had to take it off.. Having it on your wrist gives you a bit more reach to swim around the wing tip.
Some friends are loving the waist leash attachment so I might give it another go.
