hey everyone I have a Fireball 880 and I want to try some jumps, just wondering whether it would be ok to jump, considering that it is 12.8 AR, but only 604 sqcm and the entire thing is UHM. Any feedback is much appreciated ![]()
Uhm isn't any stronger. Just stiffer which means more brittle in practice(flex would absorb that energy better) so don't think of that as a positive for jumping! Ask axis if jumping will void the warranty! That's your answer!

that makes sense, idk if i'll be able to get ahold of axis though

I've emailed them before and gotten replies. If you can't get ahold of them then that's your answer on a potential warranty!
I asked someone involved with AXIS for you. There's no official answer I don't think. It sounds like, the Fireballs weren't designed for jumping, so it's jump at your own risk. Seems like if you're jumping to clear weed, you'll likely be fine. If you're jumping to do front flips then you might have issues.I bet if you ask on the facebook group you'd get answers from guys doing little jumps and being just fine.

Thanks for your help, I will probably stick to keeping the foil in the water then ![]()
