Being a big fan of F1 8m CWC V2 at 100 kgs + was only natural to try out the V3 8m and was a bit disappointed in the V3 low end vs my old V2 low end as the ol V2 definitely has a bit more low end and less apt to wing tip touches as the new V3 has a real rigid canopy and LE and has less dihedral as it's flatter and IMO causes more wing tip touches a bit annoying compared to the V2 less wing tip touches as it has more dihedral due to softer LE and which enables the dihedral in a sense, which I think makes useable wingspan a bit less when pumping on takeoff on V2,you have to learn a new technique for V3 almost.Where V3 shines is a bit more higher end wing handling for sure and center strut air pressure is separate vs V2.The handles are much improved on V3 IMO less handle misses on tacks as it stays fairly ridged vs v2 sloppy handles albeit I have gotten used to with so many hrs on V2.The V3 is pretty much a solid upgrade except for heavier riders that need that lighter day low end that the V2 has so kinda thinking if the new 9m is the go for heavier riders to step up a size from the 8m V3?as most HW riders that were 8m V2 riders might be a bit put off by the V3 low end as it just not on par to the V2,however that said on a good 16-22 kt day or more the V3 is a really nice wing to ride for a big guy.Be curious of what others have to say about the CWC V2 vs V3 big wings out there?Have to say personally that I feel my my V3 8m seems a bit undersized say 7.5m compared to my V2 8m

Pretty much on point and in line with everything I hear from other people who own one. I had both 6 and 7 V3 and while they are superior to
the v2 in almost every way, the low end grunt and purchase sweet spot are inferior. It is most noticeable and bothersome in critical situations
such as on-shore launch or a beach break where runway is very limited and instant power is needed on demand.

As far as sizing I found that for the entire Strike V3 line I needed to size up by 1sqm to come close to the low end of the V2.
If I was on the market right now, I would first look at the Swing v3 to replace the Strike V2, at least that's what I hear but I have yet to test one.

There is a lot of chatter around this issue and I personally know few wingers who switched to other brands after getting a test flight on mine.
I was an F-one winger from the start with the Swing V1 but I am now riding everything else but, even-though I still own a couple of V3's.

Agree 100% Burchas,The bummer for us heavier riders who were easily V2 8m powered in low end range days now find ourselves needing the 9m in certain light days which isn't even available yet to my knowledge?which is exactly why luckily I still have my V2 8m that's still good shape for the lighter days and use my V3 when a bit more juice wind wise days.Have to say really do like the V3 handling on windier days though

To me the V3 do not loose any air while pumping and is more efficent in low wind as well. When i go back to the V2, it's def a bummer in low wind.
