I'm interested in getting one of these boards, everyone I've picked up has been very light.

However quoted weights seem to vary wildly online. From 4.8 - 6.6kg

Does anyone know how heavy the 5'4 / 75L -5'5 / 88(85)L are?

The board comes in two different constructions for these sizes and the weight difference between the 75L and 88L could be over a 1KG for the 2022 v3 boards. Older models (v2) are still for sale and are lighter due to the difference in construction.

Thanks, yes I was looking at the V2 bamboo construction which seems to be quoted as the lightest. Weirdly the v3 bamboo construction is heavier (for the same size)

They mentioned better durability for the new boards so that only comes with added weight or price. Personally, I went with the ASC construction and I think it's the best bang for your buck. My 60L ASC is fairly light and cost me a third of what the carbon version would cost. The ASC is a molded construction and the more durable out of the 3 constructions. For the 75L I would still opt-in for the ASC.

Getting a fairly light and durable board at such an affordable prices is very refreshing. My Rocket Wing ASC 60L weigh 6.2kg which is under the advertised 6.4kg. That includes the pre-installed rail guard tape the board came with. Paid $800 USD on a holiday sale.

If I had to dig deep to find a negative for these boards, the mount tracks would be it. These are not the standard tracks. These are shallow tracks that won't accept a standard hardware. You'll need a short M6 Screw (15-20mm depending on your mast plate) and low profile T-Nut so in the event you are at the beach and lost either you have less chances to find spare hardware.

Can't say the exact weight, but I had the F-One 5'0 bamboo construction prone board and it was the lightest board I've had. Even lighter than my 4'7 Freedom carbon board. I had no issue using standard M8 track hardware on mine.

Good point. I forgot to mention that it seems the shallow tracks only comes with the molded boards (Production limitation I believe).
