Curious for any feedback on the durability of FOne board construction. They are releasing two board constructions in 2022, one of which appears to be a pretty standard EPS + glass + bamboo veneer layup (I think this is the same as their 2021 construction) and the other has pvc and carbon layers. Any durability issues with the fiberglass / bamboo boards been in previous years? Any issues jumping?

The carbon one is crazy expensive so that's not really an option.

I had one. A 5'10" 105L. I bailed on it in waves and unhooked my leash. When I picked it up on the beach it had a ding on the corner. My beach has some scattered rocks randomly, it could have hit one of those. Other than that, no issues. Others I know with them have had no issues. The boards are super light. The only issue is they have a kick tail and no footstraps, since i wanted to jump that's why I sold mine. Looks like the new boards have footstrap inserts.

I have been jumping the 5'4 bamboo with my 95kgs (210lbs) no problems. Lets say its not more or less prone to damage than any other brand, but often quite a lot lighter!

Did have damage during travel due to airport crew just throwing bags around like they're filled with potatoes or something. Dont think any board can withstand a rampant airport employee.

Had an F-one Rocket Wing for a year now and no real dings. My 14 year old daughter is jumping 3m and the foil box is still looking A1. The paint does chip off if you hit it, but nothing structural. The new F-one Rocket Wing-S boards look like a much better shape.
