This is the Wind Weapon, a short-lived impractical, but cool setup used primarily in 80s Gorge videos and Rainier Beer commercials. The design is very human.
The wind weapon was kind of half way there. The Kitewing was really the original wingding. Looks pretty cool, I could definitely see a similar solid frame wing design coming back around especially for racing and big air.
