Hello, I would like to ask for opinions.
I am a user of F-One foils. Until now, my quiver was as follows:
Sevenseas 1400
Sevenseas 1000
Sk8 750

With my weight (75 kg) and my big wing (5 m), with 10 knots I was already flying with the 1400, although if the wind increased to 13 knots, I noticed a lot of drag and I would use the 1000.

I just sold the 1400, and I wanted to buy a big Eagle, on the one hand to do some DW with the wing board, and on the other hand, to be able to use it for the low wind range (10 knots), although I go out less and less in those conditions, it is better to have a foil for light winds ....

My question is the following:
I am hesitating between the 1090 and the 1290, and in order not to go overboard, I would like to ask the opinions of those of you who have used these foils in these sizes, and which one would you advise me for what I am looking for?

I had the 990, and I remember that I needed about 12 knots to lift it (always talking with 5m of wing).

Thanks

What DW conditions you intend to ride with these wings?

Hello!
I'm interested too.
Have the same quiver, ss1400 and eagle 990, and thinking if a bigger eagle could be better for catching little wind swell than the seven seas.

1290 is your best bet, 1090 is for a bit more experience or wind

For wind swell (short period) dw on a wing board the Eagle would not be my choice and more specifically the Larger Eagles. I've used the 1090 in these conditions and it is way too fast for this type of bumps and required radical carving
for such a long span wing to stay with the bump and link to the next one. Beyond my skills, even with a carving tail and the XXXs fuse. I didn't try the 1290 but with even longer wing span I would think it would amplify that issue. Unless of course all you want to do is go up and over bumps as fast as possible, then the 1090 would be perfect.

The Seven Seas 1200, however, checked all these boxes for me.
I was able to get it going in 10knots (5.5m wing at 90kg)
The foil works very well in short period wind swell. Still usually too fast (but not as fast as the eagle) but can
maintain with the bump with good carving abilities (with C200 tail) and offers really good glide overall when you have
the occasional long face opens up.
