At the moment I am winging with AK Phaser 90L, 1st gen. board. Mainly winging on the lakes. My low wind foils are Sabfoil W1250 and Sroka 1350HA. I found one guy who is selling copy of Kalama E3 Wide board (6'x28", 105L), tear shape board. The dimensions, foil track position and shape of both boards are similar. What differs is bottom. Would I feel significant difference in getting up earlier on foil with Kalama E3? I understand that it's low wind performance is limited due to board"s width. Or better to go for "modern" longer and narrower boards, like Gong Cruzader or Takoon Ultra Glide? Others are too expensive.
I am 183 cm and 80kg, average winger

There's a well known shaper in socal making e3 knockoffs, even calls them d3s lol. I have had 4 e3s at this point and can tell you I wouldn't bother with one of the wide ones. They were great in their time but the new shapes are far better and you are best off saving your money until you can get the right modern board.

You can get Kalama E3 22,22.5,23,23.5 wide as well. You can wing them and prone them just fine.
