Hi brains trust,

I've been at it since Feb, had a great winter and going really well on the AXIS 1852cm below. I have a hankering to speed things up a bit and tackle the stronger winders more often so I've added a HA foil, the 1277cm below.

What am I going to notice when I switch to the HA foil? Guessing need more wind to get flying, will fall off the foil easier. What else should I expect in terms of performance?

Cheers.

The feel of way less drag, higher speed and more glide.

A higher planing speed will be required to pop up.

If you pump it too hard at low speeds you will collapse it back onto water.

Your lowest on-foil speed will now be higher.

For your reference we name the axis wings by their span, you have 920 and 900. Get out there and have fun with the 900, it's next level compared to the 920 and fast

The 900 is a cracker of a wing.

Thanks all - will take the 900 out today. Excited to feel the additional speed.
