Seems backwards. I would have done it the other way around so standard foil loads were working with the system rather than against it!

Then you'd be exposed to the higher load of hitting something. If I got the system, I'd get a few extra safety clips. Nothing worse than having something not useable because a cheap bit of plastic aged out.
Not until I saw the safety clip bit did I get this is like a bike quick release. Having seen way too many of them used incorrectly, the safety clip makes a ton of sense.
