I'm new to wing foiling and wanted to tap into other foilers around Byron / Ballina. Can you tell me the pick spots to try around this area? Many thanks for any help.

Ballina river mouth near the bridge , works in any wind. This is one of our sessions , very friendly local crew .

How new are you???

If your learning get to the lake at lennox

Go to the sailing club on an incoming tide, works best in a south easter.the river is fairly calm on those winds.

Piros is good,If your as good as he is,go to the bridge. It gets waves there and is hard to learn.

Guys wing there on out going tides,I personally don't. My passport isn't waterproof, and I've already drifted thru the bar and had to be rescued.
