Hi weatherman.
Southside you will find wing foilers at Manly, Wellington Point, Raby Bay and on the Northside at Redcliffe at places such as Queens Beach. If you are happy to travel the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast add a surf option. Come down and meet the locals. Always happy to have another participant. As to down winding I'm not sure and will leave that to the DW crew to answer.

If you have a foil fitted Queens Beach North at Redcliffe is the place in Brissy.Park almost at the waters edge and deep water a few metres off the beach.

We have great bay swell when the winds up due to no islands blocking it and you can expect 2-3 foot of rolling swell. Some foilers travel from Wello to ride our swells. No shore break to battle through or trash gear like up or down the coast.

Heaps of parawings now doing upwind/downwind and some paddlers doing the car shuffle along the front.

Manly is fine for our usual winds of NE or SE. There is a walk out across the mud at low tide. Unfortunately the nature of the Bay. If we happen to get a NE wind give Wellington Point a go for flat water behind the sand bank between the point and King Island from mid to 3/4 tide. Parking on weekends can be a mission though.
