Which one is the best boom or handles for most effective way to pump up the wind on foil. Thinking specifically in light wind.
Slight end to boom because you can slide hands around quicker, whether it's to avoid falling or adjust to gust incoming.
There is also a difference in booms. Some booms and handles flex sideways during aggressive pumping with big wings. The only wing without sideways flex is the Duotone Slick because there is no standoff arm.
My experience has been the Ventis 7.0 (handles) is much better than the Slick 7.0 (boom) for light wind pumping on foil, but it likely has little to do with handles/boom and more to do with overall design of the wing.

You could probably always give the slight edge to the boom since you can hold it anywhere but I'm not sure I would want to commit to the boom for that reason alone. I've never been in a situation where I though "bunmet, if I had my old slicks with a boom I'd be on foil right now but since I have handles I'm slogging."
