Has anyone ordered replacement bladders from this site?

drtuba.eu/

I need it shipped to the states and the price is good but I've never had to order a 3rd party replacement before. I am wondering if there's any first hand experiences out there?

Yep agree with all of above.

I have been using them for replacements for 7 years now through my repair business and no issues!!!

In some cases even when origionals are available I use Doc Tuba due to superior quality

Placed the order and before doing so I decided to check the condition of my 4m strut since I felt like my 3m strut had rubbed raw and not been punctured. Sure enough, 4m is wearing. So, pulled the trigger on a complete 3m and 4m set that includes leading edge and strut.

Price difference was pretty wild.
2 sets from Ocean Rodeo (listed as out of stock and no quick response from them) would have cost about $480 plus shipping.
2 sets from Airtime were running about $400 plus shipping.
2 sets from Dr. Tuba cost $245 including shipping.

So, pretty stoked if they show up and buy me peace of mind on my bladders for this season!

When does one actually need to replace the bladder? Obviously when it's damaged, but other than that, when it doesn't hold pressure over the course of one session or simply (like maintenance) just after certain hours of usage?

Asking because I never replaced a bladder until now and some of my wings are pretty old already.

If it leaks at all and the damage is not possible to find/fix the a replacement is needed. Simple as........ simple pressure test by locking the strut bladder hose (if there is one) will show you what leaks if at all. Some brands are known to have issues with bladders and regularly leak (duotone - I see more issues with than any other brand!!) In this situation aftermarket bladders solve the problems that poor quality origionals have

Good question, I'm going to drop a response on the AA wing thread since I think this is a reasonable question that is likely not tracked by many:

Great bladder and well priced.

Real shame they don't supply Ozone bladders - other than the Wasp.

I'm impressed. Order placed on the 11th. Notification of bladders made and being tested promptly. Shipping confirmation sent on the 13th with delivery date of the 17th getting them from Slovenia to the Gorge in under a week? Awesome.

Hi everyone,

I'm currently super busy but still check in on the forum from time to time.

Thank you all for the positive feedback - we truly appreciate the support from this great community! Just a quick note: in addition to the many brands we officially support, we can also produce custom bladders for models we don't have blueprints for (like Ozone kites and wings). All we need are a few key measurements from your original bladder, and we'll take care of the rest. If we don't have the original valves or if the originals don't meet our quality standards, we use high-quality replacement valves that we know work well with specific brands and models.

So if you need a bladder you can't find on our website, just reach out - our team will gladly find a solution for you.

Feel free to contact us anytime - happy to help keep you on the water!

I got my replacements out for the first ride yesterday. About 2 hours on the water, worked great.

Thanks Gigi!
