Hi I'm after a 4m wing to go with my 5.
In UK but budget is about 900 AUD

Would I be better off buying a new SMIK V3 for 800

A second hand duotone unit 2024 or Armstrong XPS for 900-1000

Or a 2025 Naish ADX used a few times for 950?

My 5m is an Ozone flow but they are very hard to find and 2k new.

Thanks

Really hard to answer this question without knowing "how used" the used wings are. If they are lightly used, I'd go with the newer second hand wing. If they are heavily used I'd go with the new one. I haven't used the ADX, but I've heard pretty positive things, and that seems like a pretty solid option.

I'd take the almost new ADX. They're pretty good, plenty of power - I just find the rear handle to be a little too far back but you'll easily adapt.

Still on Smik V3's they are a great wing. Get the hard handle upgrade.

I would buy a new old wing, especially from 2023 onwards as they all seem to improve a lot from that date onwards.

I could be unlucky with my wings, but >50% of my wings have had warranty issues (stitching, valves, bladders) and having a new product with a 6-12 month warranty is nice.

Depends what your 5m is so wind ranges complement.

New old stock is the best value and or demo you still get warranty and try and bargain with there price as they want the old stock gone and generally have a bit of movement as turnover is better than no turnover
goodluck with what you get
