Just had session #2 on the water today. Stood up, sailed in a straight line. Feeling comfortable controlling the wing. Got the foil out of the water for bits. Good tip was to use the inflated front wing to get onto the right kneeling position, helps get up a lot.

I need to work on my foot positioning and then get the straps onto the board, but not fussed not having them just yet.

Where are the best spots in Melbourne to learn? I'm in Parkdale.

There's lots of wind options here in Melbourne.. I'm also in Parkdale and Parkdale works well on SE winds.. Northerlies are good at Green Point and Southerlies are good at Hampton and HMB.. SW can be good at St Kilda for a wave protected area but once you don't mind the rough waves any city beach is fine.
