Got rolled in the beach break yesterday. Body will heal, but Fanatic Al foil mast is bent, and not sure about the fuselage. Anyone ever pressed these back into shape?

Its history.

You could straighten it, but it will be far weaker.

Yup
and being tempered, trying to bend it back is likely to snap it

Did that to my first setup which was an AL Axis mast in the exact same place and just cut it above bend with a chop saw and retapped the M8 threads and was good to go. Depends on how your mast was cast, but Axis mast is cast with the same cross section from top to bottom- bolt holes run all the way down.

I bent an older Naish mast. I bent it back by lag bolting the base to one big plank I could stand on and clamping another long board to the mast as a lever. A long lever. I bent it real slow until it was straight. I just held a straight edge against it. I'm sure it was compromised but it didn't have anything catastrophic happen. I'm pretty frugal though. Probably should have replaced it but oh well.

Where are you OP?

I've got an extra aluminum fanatic 75cm I can send if you pay the postage.

Thanks all, and thanks BullroarerTook for the offer,
am in Costa Rica. Probably not worth the postage to Costa Rica.
A local surf board manufacturer (Cheboards) is going to try to fix it. These guys also Wingfoil and surf foil, so they have good cred.
Also, the original supplier (Ticowind) can supply a replacement mast if the fix doesn't work.
hopefully the fuselage is not bent.

will let you know the outcome!

Mast is back. Repaired exactly as Holoholo suggested. It's 40cm shorter, still has very slight bend. Will be a good back up.

Thanks to Juan Diego Evangelista at Cheboards.

40mm shorter, not 40cm
