Hi
i noticed I had a bit of play in my mast/base plate connection. when new it was a tight fit, now has a bit of play round slot, side to side. I use a 90 mast and 1050 most of the time, which will create plenty of leverage.
is this a part that wears? Ordered a replacement. Am I being over cautious? Was thinking of just bonding together with epoxy. any thoughts on above appreciated. Cheers.

Know guys that have permanently bonded with no issues but don't think it's necessary. Quickest easiest is a few small pieces of Aluminum foil tape to snug it up... works great.
