Hi,
Does anyone have some real life comparisons between advance and the new advance + fuses?
would you recommend switching over to the newer one?
currently riding artv2 999 with advance ultrashort. just trying to understand if changing fuses might be a relatively cheap way to change my ride.

I went from ultra short, to advanced ultra short to advanced + ultra short over a couple of years.

Main difference i found was foil became easier to turn at speed. Less locked in.

Yep I would upgrade. Low cost compared to other updates. Make sure you have enough room in mast tracks to move mast further forward. latest fuses have a zinc anode so might last longer..

I felt the advanced + vs advanced has less pitch control (less sensitive to weight shift) and turns better. I need a couple of extra knots to get the plus on foil vs the original fuse. In stronger wind and or larger swell I prefer the +.

i have had all sizes of fuse and various offsets. I think the longer fuses work better with the front wing further from the mast and smaller fuses closer. I reckon the 640 in the advance is better than in the plus, a 600 or 560 in the plus makes more sense to me as a new addition for lighter days or smaller waves
