Has anyone tried the HPS 1050 compared to the PNG 1150? Is there a big difference in the amount of wind they need to fly?

I would put the 1150 at 8mph minimum and the 1050 around 12mph.
The PNG is such a different beast compared to the HPS. 1150 is my favorite pumping and light wind wing. The 1050 carves much better, is way faster but has a faster stall speed.

Thanks broVan, super useful info. Doesn't sound like there is an HPS wing to replace the super low end of the 1150 or BSC 1120 (which I have).

Yep I agree completely with brovan. I have 1150 and 1050. Both great wings but very different, for low wind around 8-12 knots the decision is simple 1150 is king.
The 1050 can go fairly low still, once it's up, but much harder work getting it there.
As soon as I can comfortably switch to the 1050 (or 980) I do though, they are so much faster and more fun.
So as you said there is nothing in the HPS range to match what you have.
