My new A+ 1550v2 and 60cm fuse seem to have quite a bit of movement on the mast? I've got it as tight as possible and it still seems very loose? The older 60cm fuse and mast may have a little bit of internal wear? Is that possible? I'm thinking of just permanently epoxying the mast and fuselage in place.
Definitely better to have the load on the hex joint and not the screws, best to fill the inside of the mast to make tight fit and wings to make them tight and leave the fuse alone. The wear seems to occur inside the mast and wings. If it's only slight you can just spray some clear acrylic in there from a rattle can or carefully paint some epoxy resin in there with very light coats because if you do too much it's a bitch to sand down to fit.Otherwise if it really sloppy there is video that Gofoil made on the net about waxing the fuse so nothing sticks to it then wiping epoxy paste into the joint then jamming the fuse in there and letting set.
I got a brand new 925 complete a year ago and lost money sending the damn thing straight back to the factory(armie made me pay the return shipping to the factory in china)
I found the play in the connections to be awful and the mast to flex like a wet noodle.
This is a well known problem with Armstrong masts. A lot of flex and loose connection points. Not great at speed and in water with turbulence.
You will want to add a bit of material to the hexagonal portions of the fuse. I just got some 3M putty for filling in scratches on my wings and I bet it would be a great option, as it sands down pretty easy. Feather on a thin coat on the 8 sides and sand down as needed for a nice tight fit. Toxic stuff though, so do it outside.

BTW I ride my gear 5-7 times a week , only ever used the rattle can method every couple of months ,never have loose joints and never broken any screws in 2.5 years of use.
i sprayed two coats of clear acrylic lacquer (car paint) into the hole on the foil that goes onto the fuselage. Seems to work.
I wax my fuselage connection every surf for a super quick, easy, & snug fit every time no worries!;-)
