I know they have different Ar so the Ha should have more glide and the Skate should turn better but i would like to know some comments from who tried both for winging. i use the Armstrong and i'm very happy about them, i'm addicted to their speed and their glide in fact i did not like so much the Ma series (i like how the Ha turns maybe because i'm used to them and my biggest foil is the 1125).
So if i try the Skate what should i expect less or more? thanks

I think if your able to try the F One gear that should answer your question. I rode Armstrong in the past, and now ride F One. I have ridden the 1125 and it had amazing glide but with my skill level at the time found it hard to turn.

F One is a good brand and from my experience their products all work well. The Eagle is maybe the foil you should be considering. You could try the 7 seas foils, the Sk8s and the Eagles. My foils are 7 Seas 1200 (a do it all foil for me, great glide, early lift, low stall, pretty fast), SK8 950 (everyday use with wind over 15 knots, but don't be fooled I can get this up in very light wind too, faster and turnier than 1200) and the Eagle 990 (fastest, great glide, easy to turn but wider arcs)

The 7 seas 1000 I have ridden this but owned it and if the Sk8 didn't come out would definitely have bought one. Very fun but very similar to the 950 SK8.

Sorry can't help with the Armstrong foils. The MA1000 is pretty good from what I have seen.

agreed. you should be looking at the eagle for comparable glide. eagle has a far better stall
speed - really nice wing.

I rode a buddy's sk8 1050 back to back with my MA 1000. The sk8 was fun for the conditions - 2-3 foot windswell, my MA 1000 outruns those waves and the sk8 had what I felt was similar lift to my hs 1550. I haven't ridden my 1550 in a while, but the sk8 felt like a much bigger equivalent armstrong foil in general. The MA 1000 is really responsive and snappy whereas the sk8 had that turning latency I associate with larger foils.

Still - had way more fun on the sk8 because I could surf that windswell. Makes me realize I should ride my bigger foils more instead of chasing downsizing.
