First day on my Nash 85l Wing/sup board. I was using a borrowed fanatic aero 2000 foil with a 75 cm mast and the short fuselage. With the mast all the way back in the tracks I still had to stand almost off the front of the board pad with my front foot and both feet were way forward of the foot strap inserts. Is this an issue with the board or do I just need to get the correct foil for the board? What are my options? Any info helpful.Thank you.

Same happened to me.
My Hover 85 and my Takuma did not play well together.
Reason is the front wing to mast distance.
Naish foils are very close to the mast, Takuma LOL is further forward,so i had to add some strap inserts.
Two on the outside Fwd front foot positions and one in the rear back foot position.
I used Chinook double inserts placed parallel to the stringer,so you get two position options.
Rode it strapless a few days to see where to place the inserts.
If you take this to a shaper make sure he uses divinycell or similar to bed and waterproof the fix.
No big deal, and the board balances nicely like that in float and foil mode.
Now i am using an Armstrong foil and i do not need the added inserts.Duh.
The same thing happened to me when I paired a Naish Hover SUP foil board with a GoFoil. You have to stand so far forward your feet are in front of the footstrap inserts. This doesn't matter if you're not using footstraps though, it still balanced and worked fine.
I would like to start using foot straps. Which foils work with the Naish hover 86L or do I need to use Naish foils exclusively.
Hey guys,
Another option is to shim the stabilizer "up". This will lower the angle of attack on the front wing requiring less front foot pressure.
another alternative is shimming the mast plate to rake the mast back a little. Or you could do a bit of both. ![]()

How about axis foils with Naish boards? Anyone tried that combination?
Yes.. they seem to work well together.

Running axis foils on my hover wing board. No issues.
Are you using foot straps? With the foil I'm using now (fanatic aero 2000) my feet are too far forward of the foot strap inserts to be able to use them. I want to be sure before I commit to buy.

I don't use strap and my front foot is indeed a little forward of inserts. But I haven't tried the mast track all the way back either.
None of you mentioned your weight. Maybe you need to eat more burgers
i ride axis 1010 and it works on hover 125 l. JP 95l and now my KT 80l.
I had it all the way back on each board because I'm only 75kg
