I have a Naish 120 crossover and it can do a quad setup but I would really like to see if I can wack a fin in it and do some windsurfing.
Apologies to all as the end result is to windsurf with it but I figure that the best change would come from the winging community.
Throw two long US box weed fins in it.
The tuttle adapter is so thick it won't let the fin work correctly.
Well, I've been looking for something which is the other way around, a mount which lets you mount your plate foil in a deep tuttle board. Ofcourse theres the powerplate, but those are mad expensive, and too complicated in my opinion. Also, they dont really seem to allow you to mount the mast right underneath the deeptuttle box. Just a plate with 4 bolt holes and a tuttle head on top of it, how hard can it be. Shouldnt be more than 80$ (which I think is still steep, but taking profit margins into account etc.)
Groove makes a sweet tuttle adaptor. Here's a review from Gunnar Biniach.

I had thought along those lines but using regular surfing fins.

17.5 cm (6.8 inches) fins .
All up about $100 AUD to get them from china.
I have some very stiff turtle fins and thought it might be easier to go down the single route.
But maybe it might be worth a try for $100.

Yeah I have seen those powerplates. They look very interesting but forward of the tuttle. I have looked many times on the net but never seen one that sits directly under the fin box. I did see ones where you basically stick the track on the bottom of the board, even spoke to a guy who was using it. But I would be a touch upset if the glue did not hold.

Definitely looks sleek. Still a bit of an outlay on a hunch. Thank you though.

K4 Scorcher is available at 22cm and not expensive. Although I'd recommend a weed fin so you can get the center of effort further back.
Honestly the board isn't going to plane so just run the quad setup with the biggest you can find.
