Lazy crew from Rocko, learn to go upwind

Jonah had a good ding at Ocean Beach Denmark and Scotty posted a vid of Esperance. West Beach to 11 mile in Esperance would be epic if not a bit scary with the sharks down there.

Hey the crew from meth Mandurah are always chasing the dragons hilly

yeh you'd wanna have your water starts refined.
I'm up for details on a set wave as well.
just seems a lot of beachies down there. Hence why I'm asking.

cheers

Reef breaks are rare. Alexander Bay past Esperance would be good. Has a reef break half way down beach.

Yeah with these relentless easterlies hammering Perth and no swell the South coast seems like an attractive option.

Cape Le Grand National Park, Lucky Bay. Had a fun windsurf there in the 90's just before the sinking of the Sanko Harvest. Ended working the oil spill clean up for next few months.
Remember some frantic water starts on days off around Esperance and later Cactus on my way back east.
There was a reef break somewhere around there, near a pub, monster paddle and felt sharky.

Saw a couple of Wing-Dingers cruising along Middleton Beach towards Emu Point a couple of months ago. Not sure of they were locals or visitors.
