Hello All:
The Air Box Electric Pump turns on and starts working, then suddenly stops at 0.0.
After that, it shuts off, and if I connect it to USB, it shows a charging line, then it shows a full charge, and we start over.
Has anyone else had this happen? I can't find any technical help, and I understand it could be a motherboard error, but I can't find the error list, or how to open it to verify it.
Thank you very much in advance and best regards. See you in the water (it'll take longer now because the electric pump isn't working...)
Yes. I had a similar problem with a WindGallup pump from China. I bought it because it claimed to pump a wide range of things: from wings to car tyres (which not many offer). It gave trouble from the start, then the complex electronic switching mechanism went on the blink completely. I got some help from the maker initially, then when it didn't work, suddenly they would not respond to my messages. "I should have expected that" I hear you thinking, but I've had a run of successes with Chinese stuff recently and began to think they were improving their act. But I was wrong! I doubt that it's worth taking to a repair person, but does anyone know of a good electronics repairer who might try to fix it?
A manual pump is a good way to warm up.
Yes, until you have plenty of time :) When wind comes and I have hour or two in work between the calls, I want to get on the water as soon as possible, then electric pump do the job until I prepare board and myself.
