Having the Wings the last 4 days on the water, 3.5 and 4.5., can confirm everything from Hadous Video. Feels very light, neutral, stiff. Perfect Carbon Boom and stiff front handle. Smaller Fronttube makes it fast, not much drag. Profile is rel. flat, but it flexis good if pumping up with 1psi less, then easier to get it going for my feeling. Not mentioned in Hadous test that it is a superb freestyle-wing (Axel Gerard can confirm ??).

Compared to the DT Unit 2025 it gets a bit later on foil for same size (my feeling), but the Unit is bigger if you overlay. So either AFS or DT is not measuring correct. AFS Stream 4.5 has the span of the Unit 4.0 f.i.

I have been riding the Core Halo Pro wings which I really enjoy but got my hands on a 5m Stream to try. Have had 2 river sessions on it so far.
Found it to be a really nice, user friendly wing.

Pros:
-As stable as any wing I've ridden allowing me to equal my best max and average speed in 14 gusting 20kts with some big holes in it.
-Really nice when tacking. Switch foot tacks have been my nemesis, but I managed to string together a fair number of them during the last session.
-Flags out nicely. Didn't have to fight it at all. It just sat there on long boat wake rides.
-Pretty light, though it feels just a bit heavier the Core Halo which has Alula boom and struts.
-Agile when you want to throw it around.
-Comfy boom.
-My favourite valve system.

Cons...I'm struggling to come up with anything. Haven't tried it in light conditions so can't really comment on its low end. It seems small for its size compared to the Core so initial grunt may be less?

I certainly recommend a demo on one if you can.
In Perth contact Mark at Winging Wa and he can line one up for you to try.
It has definitely left me considering a change.

Cheers
Mike

I really would like to know how the wing flies when using a harness. I use a harness all the time on long runs. I tried a couple of wings now and when you accelerate, they have the tendency to oversheet on the front hand, and want to shoot upwind. I'm looking for a powerfull wing, that is stable. I demo'd the Eleveight WFS v6 and its not that fast and has the tendency what has been described above.

I'm far from an expert on using a harness but for my second session I fitted one.
The good thing about the boom is that you can micro adjust the position of your lines so that you can help avoid the situation you speak of.
I found that with the harness I could stay hooked up during gusts as the wing didn't do anything untoward when they hit. Instead it just generated more speed as it should.
Usually I tend to unhook when the wind goes gusty.

I tried to adjust the lines on the wings i tested. But they keep oversheeting and get really nervous on the front hand, like they cannot keep up with the speed of the foil and lose power. How is the balance between the hands on the Stream? It does not pull hard on the front hand?. I noticed on Hadou's review that he has the harness lines pretty far forward. But it could be thats because the boom is pretty short.

The 2024 nova pro, i could fly with just 1 hand and harness line, super stable.

In the middle of the boom (4.5) is perfect, the Stream is really good balanced.

And its rock solid on the harness? No wobbling or tendancy to dive in the wind on the front hand? Can you fly the wing with just 1 hand and harness?

For me the Stream is one of the best wings I had until now. Really nothing to complain and it feels so light that you even don't need a harness for sizes 4.5 and smaller.

Do you know for the low-end is it similar to a Unit for same size?

my feeling is that size is about 0.3-0.5 smaller then same of the Unit, so I would maybe take 0.5 bigger then with the Unit to get same windrange.
