Anyone had any issues requiring warranty claims on their 2025 Mode Pros? I have had mine for a few months and I am on my 5th warranty claim. I do not want to go into specifics but separate issues on 3.5, 4.8, and boom. So far, North has been great about repairs but I am usually without the warrantied gear for two weeks. I'm just curious if anyone else has any issues.

Weird, no. Haven't had any issues or have to deal with any of that with my mode pros/nova pros. Just bought a 3.5 m nova pro 2024 model, and one thing that annoys the hell out of me is the bag's too small to fit wing+boom! Unbelievable. the 2025 bags seems to be bigger, but this is a bit of a shocker.

Yeah, other 2024 Pro owners at my local launch have also been surprised. They have not had any problems and love their Pros.

No issues seen or reported from my friends that I know of. Sucks to wait but props to north for being on top of it!

Yep, several 2025 Mode Pro wings at my local have had issues. Note that the issues I'm seeing would only occur when using the boom. I reckon it wouldn't happen with the handles. My 2024 Mode Pros didn't have this issue and are still going strong.

What are the issues with the boom option?

No issues with my 2024 North Mode Pro's or North Mode Ultra either, they were good wings.

I bought a 2024 Mode Pro to avoid the track mount. Glad I did. A fixed boom like with the standard 2025 Nova would be ideal

I spoke too soon! Showed up at the beach to a bummed friend complaining about the stitching pulling on his track and having to reposition his boom.

Yes, I've warrantied a Mode Pro 2024 due to stiching pulling on the leading edge, where the diameter is the largest.(I replaced it with the latest 5.4 Ultra that I don't really like, too race-oriented, it will be for sale soon...)A friend's 4.8 broke in half on the LE (stitching failed, under the handle), and his 2023 5.5 was about to do the same it's now too scary to use. Both were just past the warranty when he learned he could have submitted a claim. My 4.2 Mode Pro is also showing some signs of pulling on the LE, I haven't looked at the track, I'll pay attention. My understanding of the problem is that heat is bad for these wings, there's some tape inside the LE and the tape fails with heat, then all the stress goes to the stitching and the fabric doesn't take it. Nothing really sticks well to Weave45 (dyneema?).

I've had the stitching pull on the leading edge of both my 4.2 and 6m Novas. I inflate to correct pressure only. Maybe it's a North issue, not a Mode issue? Or a user fault?

threads are dangling out all over my leading edge on my Modes (not Pro). but these are 2023 models (bought in 2024), have had pretty heavy usage, and no actual problems yet, so i really can't complain.

I had leading edge stitching issues on the 2023 Mode out of warranty once I noticed it.
picked up a new 2023 Nova on sale recently and the front luff handle is so tight to the leading edge that it's dangerous to use (if wing flips my fingers are stuck in there). Shop said it's not covered by warranty as that's how they were designed.
I really like how both wings fly, and the materials seem solid, but they just seem a little off with their construction.

If any of you have owned or tested the Mode Pro 2024 and Mode Pro 2025, are there any significant differences in performance (besides the handle system)? I'm thinking of buying one or two Mode Pro boards (either a 4.2 and a 5.5, or a 4.2 Mode Pro and a 5.4 Nova Pro), and there are still some 2024 models on sale at very good prices. So, is the price difference for the 2025 models really noticeable and worth it?
