Need advice on wether to get a 1500 free or 1300 /1600 glide. I love the lift of my 2000 HA and the speed of my 1250 HA but am looking for foil to fit in the middle with attributes good lift and speed
Glide 1305 goes very early with all advantages of HA in light winds. Once on foil it's hard to stop. Speed is better than 1250 Free. It turns surprisingly well for the span. I wouldn't go bigger for winging.
If you only care about lift and speed, then the Glide is the easy choice. In my experience, the 1305 Glide gets going as early as the 1500HA, but it glides and pumps much better. Turning is about the same.
Your weight will determine whether to go for the 1305 or the 1600 glide.
Thanks Nikita and Nikonfoil. Being 96 kg the shop owner recommends the 1600 glide but am tempted to go the 1305 as mentioned by Nikonfoil.
I love the 1250 Free.
I added the 1500 Free to match my Ventis (me 82kg). They share the same 250 C stab.
The 1500 has lots of 1250's agility kept but gets going significantly earlier and with a smooth constant lift.
Great Front for my Ventis 7.0 or my 5.5 slick in unsteady conditions.
