Family is going to WA Ningaloo (Exmouth) next April 2018.
Does anyone know where I might hire a board/gear for a windsurf in Exmouth or Coral Bay?

Not good news I am afraid, there is no hire above Gerro and the wind is best Oct to March try go earlier like October/November for wind and waves, you have to be lucky in April, we usually head south by March.
Agree it is bad timing for wind in that area - unless you want beginner gear. Looking at April 2017 data it had a couple of sailable days for freeride. As opposed to say 10 plus days of 20kn plus in midwest.
Most shops in Perth will hire, Werner still hires at Lancelin.

Thank you to all for responses. I had feared there may be no real options at exmouth for hire gear and also the winds where to be light. Looks like it will be snorkelling, swimming and sitting in the warm sun for this holiday.

Exmouth wind data will be taken from gulf side, better off looking at gnaraloo,coral bay winds which will be more on par with Exmouth reef coast winds.
