Does anyone know of an insurance company that will cover gear while in van or at location that you are sailing?
Have just purchased second hand van and want to store all my gear in so that i have a choice when i go down sailing .
Would appreciate some help
Thanks Mineral1, have contacted QBE and looks like I will be going ahead. For your and anyone else's info, they will cover under your Home and Contents insurance new for old Australia and New Zealand wide.
New for Old? Windsurfing gear? Methinks a pig just flew thru the window. Ive insured with GIO (QBE?) agreed value at a reasonable price I think. Lockup etc but not in use and judging by the damage I inflict on my gear at times I understand why.
Marine Insurers probably cover all but at a price.
