what the best weather to head out.

hello the other day it was a SE winds, did not see any windsurfers out.. and i know why now.. off shore winds is not the best time to go out.. i went out out ok but god it was hard getting back.. had to swim back with the board..

just wanted to know whats the best weather to head out? and what i should be looking for before heading out thanks

Airborn to keep things safe you need to always sail in winds that have a bit of onshore or sideshore direction. This means if you break something, hurt yourself at the very worst you will get blown back to shore.

Try the river as you will be able to find a spot that is onshore-ish on these pesky SE'ers. Historically they are very gusty though.

Cross off in waves is another story......
