It's such a beautiful warm sunny day outside,
I just feel that a seabreeze ought to spring up...

Slowly the doctor, the oracle, returns to grace the remaining sullen but hopeful windsurfing contingent, after the neverending winter glass off.

But I suppose the sleepy winter still hasn't let go of its offshore rhythm just yet, this boulevard remains broken, for now;

Though this summer will bring with it a relentless raging heat we can only make the most of the now. The warm sun against the fresh change of spring. These frames should get you itching for the remaining city swell!

High Def.

Great clip!

What an awesome wave, some seriously long rides there.

And the soundtrack was cool too.

Makes me miss summer

Seabreezes three afternoons this week... (not counting the front which passed through yesterday)
light, but promising...

Yep we almost had whitecaps, I planned to have a surf after lunch, but I changed my mind when I saw the breeze coming in.

plenty of white caps today...

was surfing but decided to give WS-ing a go. Rigged my 5.8 and a 92l board and it was f*&*&ing close to being OK.

Could barely waterstart and need maybe 10l more (and a bit more skill) to stay upwind!

One of the other guys was out there on a 6.1 and 105l and was having heaps of fun with plenty rides!

tomorrow looks good!

The other bloke was Pete.
I drove past but had my kids in the car. Not enough time to go home, pack my 5.7 and 86L into the car and find a baby sitter

Yeah had a great sail on Saturday afternoon. Was using the 6.1 firefly and a JP 102Freestyle wave which I had Hoops (Hoops is the man for board converts) convert to a Twin set up works great in the light stuff for my 95kg. Also got out on Sunday on the same set up more wind but less waves and was more onshore but still heaps of fun to be on the windy gear.

Good news to the bigger blokes is JP have a 99L thruster wave board out in 2011 had a chance to use it at Avalon 2 weeks ago and it is hot a propoer dedicated wave board for the bigger guy, means I should not have to get my boards converted anymore for the light wind wave stuff, good to see that some brands are thinking about the larger guys.
