Are the old big race sails anygood for light days as I have been using a 9.8 gaastra nitro 3 with fiberspar reflex 6000 gets me going had a look at a modern set up same size rig awesome sail but the whole set up including boom was about 2 kg's heavier wow looking for advise
Big old race sails can be useful for light days but more recent sails are better, especially when matched with the right mast. All that R&D has to count for something!
