when does the standard fremantle doctor season start? I have been out a few times but on average the wind has been pretty ordinary so far... or has it?

It needs the right weather pattern to form.
We've had a couple of weeks of doctor action already, but right now the weather pattern isn't right.
Don't worry, in a couple of weeks it will sort itself out you'll know all about it

mid to late october, just a bit of a glitch this year, as the earth is pretty old a year to the earth is just milli second and a couple of weeks well thats nothing, but to a human with an 80 odd year life span a couple of weeks late seems like a while.
