Not so much "boring" as "routine" 
Downers:
car smells with wet gear in it non stop for 2 mths
wettie is always cold n wet when putting it on
parts of you start to feel damaged and you think about a voluntary no-sail day but u go sail anyway and more bits hurt afterwards
positives:
never adjust the extension, boom or harness line pozzie when using 4.5 every day
Your wheeel tracks on the sand are getting nice n hard, no bogging
you can rig in 2mins and sail set is perfect
