Hi all

We are looking to head to the South West for the Xmas break and there is an option to stay around the Denmark region.

Are there any reasonable wave or even B&J sailing spots around nearby? Please PM me if so - much appreciated.

I actually don't know where, but there are some really good spots down there.
Looking at the coast between Denmark and Walpole, the SE seabreeze is cross shore. When I was in Esperance and I looked at the south coast forecasts they seemed to get plenty of strong seabreezes along that stretch - more than we did in Esp.

There will be swell.... should be awesome DTL spots somewhere. There is footage of some spot down there on Scotty McKercher's videos

I reckon for B&J you'll be right around Denmark itself?

Oh crap eh. Oh well.

Thanks for warning me, a PM about what spots to best avoid would be great.

Have seen one ws and another time one kiter at ocean beach. Also seen windsurfing on the inlet in albany.

I recon you'd be crazy though, the waves will smash you in half, the water is freezing and you'd be all by yourself. (not including the sharks - plenty of them down there)

goodluck though.

Yes, I have been warned - it does look like a mad idea - most unsuitable - I am trying to talk the wife into staying in Busso.....

That said, if we do have to go there, I"ll probably just do lots of walking with the fam. Maybe a few beachy mornings with the spade and bucket.

The definition of perfection!

Nice bowly waves, not too hot, and no drop ins
