2nd Wind and Windforce during Summer I know of. Anybody running during Winter?
Grandson wants to learn. I just dont have a big old board with a centre board for him to learn on. He is 9, and not sure if he wants to, but would like a try. Don't want to buy a board and he goes two three days and chucks it in.
I have the rest of the kids learning kit,
Winter water, not a problem, he is a chubby chap

Hi Mineral!

For kids you really need a kid sized board, otherwise it won't turn properly with a kid sized sail.

I have an 88L starboard kiddy with centre fin you may borrow if that's big enough.
Are you sure this is the time of year to teach him?
That river water is really cold.

Cold,[}:)] that's what I said, but noooo, he is a kid, ya cant tell them much.
I will hold him at arms length for a while,at least a month or so, but you know kids, and in particular, my Grand kids eventually they wear me down..
Lucky or unlucky I have been working on Daughters house for ages, getting jobs done so she can sell. That's taken most my time of late and he sees I am busy with his Mums stuff. Thanks for the offer, will let you know soon enough. One other chap has offered as well which is pleasing.
