There is a Womens division in the States. We are hoping for the biggest ladies fleet for sometime for the WA 2021 States. Jill Boyer here is in training on her Mistral Competition sans harness for extra fitness and endurance.

Hopefully joining and supporting local sailing clubs who provided them with the opportunity to race

Great to see sailors coming over from Inverloch Sailing Club - Hopefully all the WA based sailors who have previously joined Inverloch to get an AS number now realise WWA is an Australian Sailing Club and all our members now get an AS number.

18 entrants so far...this is going gangbusters now.

A World Champion now in the field of competitors and we are just getting started.

Six yacht clubs RPYC, RFBYC, EFYC, MBSC, IWC (Inverloch Windsurfing Club) and WWA.

I note Snides (also top foiler) has now entered and we have one entrant in the Women's so far.

Are any other foilers wanting to test their mettle on a slapper against the world champion ? He is also a foiler as well.

Any WAIS folks going to show their strengths ? Come on !

Polish them as much as you wish, we can make them trophies for the winner... but the only class legal gear is a Windsurfer Class hull & rig, sailor v sailor on one design gear, the gear war is irrelevant.

Naish is one of the sponsors of the brilliant longboard racing event, being the Windsurfer Class WA State Titles held in Dec 2020-Jan. 2021 on the Swan River, Perth. The host club is Mounts Bay Sailing Club. Robby might just be getting ready to start his campaign for the 2021/2022 world titles at MBSC - he recently said privately he is competitive and only wants to race to win and this sponsorship might just be a sign he is kicking it off now. So get on board if you want to test your mettle with him in 2021-2022.

Register now for the States to start your campaign.

Come on !

19 entrants so far late fees kick in Friday night !

28 entrants and I know of many others still to enter. This is going to be huge ! This might be the biggest event for windsurfers in WA for Dec/Jan. Maybe some of the WWA or WAIS slalom and foil hotshots should charter a board and show the rest how its done.Should be "transferable skills and fitness" training work for the Cervantes event and/or big fleet and up-hauling practice for the "Foil Festivus" at SOPYC. Come on !

32 entrants, two world champions, including a wave world champion ! This is going to be tops. The foiling moth sailors are still to register with their LT...I am assured we will have two or three on board including a top sailmaker. We could easily achieve 35 or more when the event starts up on the start line.

Great shots Snides. 3 races today in the Western Australia State Championship today (20-30 knots). This was demanding and physically challenging. Beers and food followed with many tall tales told in the bar. Top sailors included Tim Gourlay, Kelvin Ussher and Scott Mckercher. Well done to all who were out there and who finished. This was a tour de force. Freestyle and 3 more course races tomorrow.

Provisional results excluding drops now out: topyacht.net.au/results/mbsc/2020/otb/wind/series.htm?ty=69795

Thanks to MBSC and WCAWA for a great event.

Steve Boddy won the Windsurfer Sail (donated by Exocet) and Bugs won the Ezzy Kids rigs which he generously gifted to Lloyd Edmunds for his kids. Many great prizes were handed out and everyone had so much fun competing.

Thanks a million also to Larry Smith, Steve Schneider (both of whom worked hard for a great event) and all the great crew at MBSC including Emily and her race crew for putting on a top regatta and to Mark Taylor of SurfSail for his tireless work and for all the prizes courtesy of SurfSail, Ezzy Sails, Exocet windsurfing, Windgenuity, Naish, SolarX, Ocean & Earth, FCS, Surflogic and others.

Excellent sponsors support augurs well for future events.....Bridge to Bridge etc.

We even had green shoots with top Slalom sailor Isaac De Vries out on the course testing his new Windsurfer LT...Chad Silver is even looking into buying one now and challenging Craig Mann again for another wager... he and they want to join in the action and all are welcome. A great time to start the Aussie Masters Games campaign and warm up for the Worlds next year.

Still trying to find a sport I can beat Craig Mann at....
Maybe this is it!
