Use to work on the Burrup and lived in Karratha and Dampier.
You sail a few spots in the area depending on the wind.
Try Hearsons Cove in an easterly and Dampier on a seabreeze.
I use to park just north of the yacht club and sail in and out passing just south of Sams Island.
I know there are a few crew who windsurf and kite there.
Rob might be able to help you more as he currently lives there.
Good luck though coz his wife just had a baby?
Hope this helps.

Haha yeah what he said!

Just come down and jump in the mix with the kiters - plenty of room, plenty of wind. Can't always guarantee there will be water, and waves only onshore in high winds at high tide. Pt Samson/ Cossack at settlers beach is good too.

I'll be there, maybe. Probably kiting up north though, but do get the windsurfing gear out sometimes to stop from getting too soft. Look for the kook in the red gath helmet, come say g'day, there's no bullsht windsurf vs kite agro in Kta so just come have a yarn. Should get good easterlies for Hearsons cove pretty soon.

Bub's due next week!

Hmmm anywhere about 200km to the north and 2000km to the south. Depends on wind direction

Semi-serious question... any crocs that far south (or even Port Hedland) ?
And are the noah's friendly?
