At the end of Crusoe Beach Rd. If wind more southwesterly then park in the car park at the end of Beaufortia Gardens (housing estate south west of Boston Brewery) and carry your gear around 75 metres to the water (cross over the heritage trail).

Gaz, I ended up launching from Crusoe Beach. It was definitely the best option, parking space, rigging and launch area were much better than Google Earth had me expecting.

Good one Stretchy!!!
I was cycling the Wilson Inlet Heritage Trail with the family last Sunday and nipped down to the suggested launch spot at the end of Crusoe Beach Rd to do a recon myself! Have been there a few times but have not launched from there yet, though was pretty sure that was the best spot in a westerly.

Here you go Glen. Crusoe Beach Rd is signposted from the Highway. Lachy and I also rode our pushies down the rail trail to check out Springdale Beach. This looked a good option too, but given the ****ty WNWly wind direction I figured Crusoe Beach would give cleanest wind. Water chopped up pretty quick for the meagre amount of wind, which had me thinking a foil would work well IF no submerged hazards?
