Can anybody recommend where i might get a sail tomorrow, i have only sailed at Pelican point in the past but went to Melville park today but no luck.
I just did 3 months straight, have 4 days off, then back to work Thursday and am hanging out for a sail. Now i see home {Gold Coast} has 25kt :(

Wave gear in avatar?

You might be struggling tomorrow unless on the ocean (and late perhaps). I'd try Leighton or Dutch Inn (just south of Cottesloe).

For river, Peli will be the go but I reckon 15kn may be all it gets

Safety bay is fairly consistent this season and we need more boards on the water to stop the kites from completely running the place

Simon you should have been out on Monday 11th. I think we almost outnumbered the kiters that day.
It was a great turn out.

Thanks for the tip. i had a grate sail at safety bay today. It could have kept blowing but had a ball and it is a grate place to sail. See you again soon.

Excuse my ignorance but where exactly do you launch at Safety bay as I may give it a crack but might spend an hour or 2 getting lost?

Hi Topcat,

www.google.com.au/maps?q=-32.306388,+115.719142&num=1&t=h&vpsrc=6&ie=UTF8&ll=-32.306076,115.719533&spn=0.001718,0.003484&z=19&iwloc=A

That's where pretty much all the windsurfers launch from. All the kiters launch further along the road to the NW.

Bent St Boat ramp. Super easy to find.
Just remember, if you can see under the jetty it might be getting shallow to sail over the outer bank - take care if using a larger sized fin.
