The BOM forecast for Saturday and Sunday - this weekend and the Seabreeze graphs don't match????
Is this so we we can't handle a sail after the "End of Season" pi__up and you get the beach to yourselves?????
Saturday: NE/NW winds 10/15 knots, increasing to 15/20 knots late morning. Winds
tending N/NW 20/30 knots offshore early evening. Seas 1.0m to 2.0m. Swell to
1.5m.
Swell at Cottesloe: to 0.5m.
Winds on Melville Water: Similar, up to 5 knots lighter.
Sunday: W/NW winds 20/30 knots tending W/SW 20/30 knots by late morning and
easing to 13/18 knots late afternoon. Seas to 2.5m, easing in the evening. Swell
to 1.5m.
Yesterday, the forecast for Sat was stronger on BOM, now it is a bit less.
I think they have just revised it to account for the front arriving later?
PS: I hope it is about right at the moment - as I will be on a boat in Gage Roads with a 8 y/o who might not like a 20kn northerly and some swell (told his mum it will be 5kn and flat lol)
Sorry Laurie, But.....
Since when do green arrows have anything to do with anything that resembles a forecast
