WindsurfingWA is holding the WINDSHACK Green Head Wavesailing classic this weekend Saturday 24th January 2009.
Registration from 11am
Briefing 1pm at the beach nth of jetty (or sooner if the wind is in)

Forecast is looking good for wind and swell
Heaps of great prizes and trophies from WINDSHACK plus cash prizes for Elite division.
Free BBQ/drinks for all competitors on Saturday night at the presentations at the Green Head community Centre.

Quattro and Goya gear will be available to demo.

Free for all WWA members (includes Safety Bay WC and Geraldton Club members).
If you're not a member, no problem you can join up on the day.

If you need accommodation or camp site call the Green Head caravan Park on 9953 1131, it's a short walk from the community centre

I rang green head caravan park and they reckon its a 3 day minimum limit!! has anyone else had this problem, does anyone know of anywhere else to stay?

i think u might struggle i rang 1 guy who put me onto the local shop who then put me onto a lady...phew who could only offer a shack for fri-sat at $120 anight (all this so my wife could take the dog)

i dont know how much the caravan park is but even 3 nights might still be your cheapest options

You're allowed to camp at Sandy Cape 15km south of Greenhead for free or you can try the Caravan Park in Leeman about 12km north of Greenhead.

Might be some helmet cam action on the weekend up there- the forecast looks too perfect for that break...

It might ONLY be 30 knots!


You can jump SO HUGE at this joint its not funny. I reckon it will be a mega MEGA air off between Jaeger and Glen in the finale.
