A new categoryhas been added to the DSM-IV-TR WDS: An affliction known to cause mood changes, bouts of extreme boredom, impulsive behaviours such as buying equipment which won't be used, excessive internet use, negative thinking, weight gain, lethargy, and the occassional bout of interpersonal conflict.

Add to that:
Driving 5 hours to Gero for the chance of a slightly stronger breeze than Perf, getting skunked, then driving 5 hours home...

Only place I'm going is a certain run, known to only a select couple of dozen teams

Would go for a wave sail but a 4+m swell with a 4m sail would give me a freckle kickin

Yeah Baby Bring it on

I think it's interesting that the same person who posted the futility of long range forecasts is talking this one up...

Which soothsayer are you consulting?

(I won't complain if it comes true though!)

Change in medication.

In my defense though, I'm not talking up green arrows or windfinder,

but I do have a long range forecast tool which I have planned quite a few successful wave chaser trips with

I'll be honest, I'd be happy with around 14knots, but 20 knots on top of that will be sweet

Right now I'm desperate enough to believe the homeless shopping trolley woman when she says that if I give her $10 she'll make a seabreeze for me!
