Wind gusts can be 40 percent stronger than the averages given here, and maximum
wave may be up to twice the height.
Shocked today to see gusts 200% stronger than the average!

Yeah at least when it picked up from 4:15 to 4:45 got me planing for a short while. Then it dropped to HALF and I could only just grovel back in.
Yeah the same thing happened to me in January went out and got planing for half an hour. Then the wind must have cut by about 50% and I could only just grovel back in.
