Howdy all,
The WA events calendar is shaping up to be a cracker and the WWA Event Team for the Season Opener at Green Head is setting the categories for the three disciplines being competed, in Wave, Freestyle & Slalom.
Green Head is a challenging venue and the conditions and competition is traditionally hardcore, so there is plenty of talent to inspire young shredders!
Presently there is no Youth or Junior category set for the competition in any of the formats and under 18's would compete in the Novice category for the Novice awards, however if there is a strong show of interest we could convince the organising team to make provision for Junior boys and girls in their own right.
The question is, are there any under 18 boys and girls out there that want to get involved?!!
It would be great to know who is out there and WWA can start making regular provision for keen Juniors at all their events...and I'm sure they can organise some pretty good prizes too as the major brands love seeing youngsters getting into windsurfing!
