Does anyone have an idea where to get (buy, borrow, steal) a boom for a week down here in Albany???
I've been to 5 shops and a Kite-surf guy and have struck out.
What is this place? Perfect weather and nobody's out on the water..!?
Any ideas - let me know pleeeeease...
Steve Pell lives down there, not sure on how you track him down.
If you keep an eye on the GPSTC web site, gpsteamchallenge.com.au/team/view/2
he will post his session if he sailed, under "Mandurah Mob" with his name being EVETS. Jump in and send those posting a question on how to get in conact with him. Failing that send him a PM under the name EVETS on seabreeze.
Hope you get a boom for a sail.

I'll send Steve a txt re boom, though don't know whether he's still on holidays or back at work (at Boddington)
JKman,
Talked to Steve's wife and got a text from Steve as well. We both know a local guy who is pretty generous and may have a boom to lend, though I don't have his number but Steve does. Maybe give me your mobile no (via Seabreeze email link) and I'll give your number to Steve, assuming you don't track him down first!
By the way, what size boom do you use and is it rdm or sdm? (the boom I have in Albany is a 130-180 sdm and I do have an rdm shim somewhere, though can't get it till Wed 1st Jan).
Thanks everyone. Got one from Gazman today and been out already. Though day though, need to go somewhere a little calmer then Middleton Beach...
